Schlotzsky's Deli on IAA Drive
Rating: A Taint above Shitty
The good news is Schlotzsky's has an online coupon for the Turkey Sandwich, other sandwiches, and pizza. The bad news is that their prices have gone up and their food is just not that good. I took in a $0.75 coupon and ordered a Regular Smoked Turkey on Rye and a drink (the coupon specifies a drink). I then had to explain to them that "light" sandwiches does not mean "lite mayo". So I stripped the mayo and French's mustard in lieu of actual Deli mustard.
The restaurant is nice enough for fast food and the soup - after I got there and ordered - smelled and looked a lot better. The sandwich came out fast but was a disappointment. The lettuce is iceberg and limp, the deli meat ho-hum, and the bread was much too spongy for my taste. At least their mustard had a nice horseradish kick to it.
All-in-all, I spent $5.73 on a mediocre sandwich that didn't fill me up and a fountain soda. Keep in mind this included a coupon and you'll see where this is going. The bottom line: Way too high priced for too little sandwich and too little taste. It's a full level above Blimpie's but all Schlotzsky's sandwiches should be avoided.

I worked for schlotzskys deli and working for the managers they are rude and crude in the area i live but i wont post what state or town but i can tell you i would suggest no one work for schlotzsys deli because one of the places i worked at as fowel language towards their co workers and another thing is the owner is terrible and rude and yells extremly loud is so dam picky if you cut a sandwich wrong.. oh please a sandwich for crying out loud to yell at someone for cutting a sandwich wrong... it is so hard to keep every sandwich just perfectly right... i use to cover hours so much for these people and i even went in once on my day off and only called in sick once and brought a doctors excuse in and ended up months later getting my hours cutt.... i found out later why my hours had been cutt and it was discrimination against a disablity... i worked my you mys well say my ass off for these people and was even nice enough to mop and sweep the floors when no one else would mop.. the place has roaches and the way dishes are done is not right.. they dont mop the floors unless the close down and that is the only time you will find them mopping.... as for going back to work there well i walked out and would not return back and nor would they want me back but for my revenge and since i cant sue them i can atleast post my opion here and what i want to say because i have a right to say what i want and its all true of schlotskys deli.... i have never worked in a fast food buisness before where they yelled at me over a sandwich and i once worked for a place that they were much cleaner and treated me with more respect then i got at schlotzsys deli. I once even heard the manager say that fucking bitch and i am sure the lady heard it. The lady was upset because she didnt get the sandwich she wanted correctly and so the manager called her a fucking bitch but he said it low enough but i and one of the co workers thought she probably heard him... as well the manager likes to yell at everyone for doing something wrong by cussing them out...... to anyone who wants to eat at schlotzsys deli make sure that they treat you with respect and please dont get upset if your sandwich might be cutt wrong just ask they do it right next time or ask for another one but tell the owner or manager not to yell just because the sandwich may accidently been cutt wrong because everyone makes mistakes and they expect everything so perfectly cutt... i just want to suggest dont eat there and dont work there and if you choose to just make sure you know what your getting yourself into.... posted by an x employee who wants revenge on them who wanted to sue but couldnt.. but got my revenge here so everyone can read what i wanted to say...

Blah, blah blah. They serve SUB SANDWICHES. I'm sorry that they don't convey the wonder luxury service that is offered by McDonald's.
